Baseball Dance WorkShop

The Tinton Falls Music Parents Association created a unique arts experience with the goal of engaging students who might not otherwise participate in traditional arts programs. Partnering with the Count Basie Center for the Arts, we brought a professional teaching artist to lead a high-energy, Savannah Bananas-inspired dance workshop for Tinton Falls Little League and softball players. Students learned a choreographed routine combining music, movement, and baseball culture, then performed it for their families and community at Little League Opening Day. The students were later invited to bring the dance to the field at Jersey Shore BlueClaws Stadium, performing for the crowd during a BlueClaws game.
